Blackhawks Vs. Sharks Preview: Chicago Tries To Break Out Of Funk

Chicago is desperate to snap a six-game losing streak.

Feb 10, 2012 - The Chicago Blackhawks continue to struggle mightily after a great start to the season -- the team's 5-2 loss in Denver Tuesday night was its sixth straight -- but that good start has afforded tehm time to get their issues sorted out, and they can start against the San Jose Sharks on Friday night.

If Chicago is going to snap that losing streak, it's going to need a better effort from the guy between the pipes, whether it's Ray Emery or Corey Crawford. Opponents have scored at least three regulation goals in five of Chicago's six losses during the streak.

The Sharks enter Friday on a two-game losing streak, and while they sit in first place in the Pacific division, the Blackhawks, who are sitting in fourth place in the tough Central division, have more points (65 to 64).

Date & Time: Friday, Feb. 10, 9:30 p.m. CT

TV: WGN
