Blackhawks Vs. Predators Score Update: Chicago Trails 4-1 Heading Into Final Period

Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Blackhawks (29-13-5, 64 pts) look for a comeback heading into the third period against the Nashville Predators (27-16-4, 58 pts). The Blackhawks trail 4-1 after the Nashville offense went on a 3-0 run in the second period.

Despite only out-shooting the Hawks 11-9 in the second period, the Predators tortured G Corey Crawford, knocking a trio of goals past him. The combo of LW Colin Wilson (3 SOG, 1 goal), C Craig Smith and defenseman Kevin Klein (3 SOG, 1 goal) have effectively pressured the Blackhawks defense into submission.

After mustering only 10 shots on goal through the first two periods, the Blackhawks will look likely employ a more aggressive attack, hoping to draw the game to within reach late.
