The Blackhawks/Red Wings rivalry is one of the most heated in the NHL; the last couple of years the two teams have fought it out for supremacy in the Central Division.↵↵
Between now and the end of the regular season, the Hawks and Wings will meet three times; the Hawks may be a bit too far behind Detroit (88 points to 95) to catch them for the division lead, but each of the three games (two in Detroit, one at the UC) is extremely important for the Blackhawks' playoff position.
The last of the three games -- Sunday, April 10, the last game of the Blackhawks' regular season -- has been deemed important enough by the NHL to be featured on NBC as its national Game of the Week. Thus, the starting time has been moved up from 3 p.m. to 11:30 a.m. CDT. If you've got tickets for that game, make a note of the time. If you don't, fire up your TV in the late morning to see one of the NHL's best matchups.
