The Chicago Blackhawks, losers of their last three games, head to Anaheim to take on the Ducks, losers of their last five.
The Chicago Blackhawks (12-7-3) square off against the Anaheim Ducks (6-11-4) today in an afternoon match where both teams are looking to stop losing streaks.
Having lost their last three games, the Blackhawks hold a tenuous grip on the top of the Central Division Standings:
The Blackhawks have been a sieve defensively over their last three games, allowing a combined 15 goals -- despite losing 0-1 to the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday.
Sam Fels of Second City Hockey, SB Nation's Blackhawks' team blog, exhorts fans to worry about the Hawks, not the Ducks:
No time for pity, only time for ruthlessness. The Ducks' descent into the abyss is their problem, the Hawks have their own. They should start to look a little better today unless the Hawks go well out of their way.
