Your Sports TV Schedule, 12/17: The Evil Miami Heat On ESPN, Blackhawks/Red Wings

If you're one of those who loves to hate LeBron James (and who outside of Miami doesn't), here's your chance to root against them and hope that the New York Knicks can break the Heat's ten-game winning streak. (On second thought, it might be hard for Chicagoans to root for a New York team.) Also, the Blackhawks face their division rivals from Detroit.

6 p.m., Big Ten Network: College basketball, SIU-Edwardsville at Indiana. "Big Ten Beats Up On Directional School Month" continues.

7 p.m., Comcast 100: AHL, Wolves at Ice Hogs. The big question: will Jeremy Morin, who keeps getting "sent" to Rockford, actually play for the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate?

7:30 p.m., CSN Chicago: NHL, Blackhawks vs. Red Wings at the United Center. Before the game, the Hawks are honoring Chicago native and ex-Hawk Chris Chelios, who won a Stanley Cup... with the Wings. Strange days.

8:30 p.m., ESPN: NBA, Suns at Mavericks. The Suns were supposed to be good this year, but are struggling at .500. The Mavs are 20-5.
