Since leaving the Rams' lineup with a groin injury against the Redskins, Steven Jackson has remained out and didn't practice all week. Regardless, that may not be enough to keep the running back out of the lineup, as he is listed as questionable and is considered to be a game-time decision for Sunday.
Jackson told reporters that he first felt tightness early in the second quarter of their victory over the Redskins, but didn't leave the game until three carries later. There was initial speculation that Jackson was pulled from the game by coach Jeff Fisher due to a spike that drew a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
The three-time Pro Bowler has reached 1,000 yards rushing in each of the last seven seasons, missing 11 games over that span. Through two games in 2012, Jackson has accumulated 111 yards rushing on 30 carries.
