NFL 2012 Schedule: Chicago Bears Draw First NFC West Opponent

Stay connected for news and updates

It's NFC West week for three of the four teams in the NFC North, the Chicago Bears included. The Bears host the St. Louis Rams Sunday at noon CT, with quarterback Jay Cutler hoping to click (and get protection) the same way he did in Week 1.

The Bears, Detroit Lions (at Tennessee Sunday), Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings are all 1-1 going into the weekend's action.

It's the Bears against the Rams (1-1), the undefeated San Francisco 49ers (arguably the best team in the NFL at present) at Minnesota and the Packers at the Seattle Seahawks (1-1) on Monday Night Football.

The Bears opened against Indianapolis and then fell flat last Thursday at Green Bay. Chicago gets another long week after Sunday's game, with the Bears going to Dallas for a Monday night game on Oct. 1.
