Bears Vs. Packers Injury Report: Charles Tillman Will Play

Stay connected for news and updates

Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman will play in the team's Thursday night showdown with the Green Bay Packers, says the NFL Network's Alex Flanagan. The corner, who made the 2011 Pro Bowl, suffered a shin injury in Chicago's Week 1 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He missed most of that game as well as practice during the week.

In addition to his contributions on defense, Tillman had become key in special teams. He was a crucial blocker on the punt-return team, matching up with the opposing team's gunner.

Tillman had three interceptions and 16 passes defended in his 2011 season. He has been in the league since 2003, spending his entire career to date with Chicago.
