NFL Position Battles: J'Marcus Webb, Chris Williams Continue Battle At Left Tackle For Chicago Bears

Stay connected for news and updates

Optimism is high for the Bears as the team continues to work its way through training camp, but Chicago's Super Bowl aspirations won't last long if the offensive line doesn't make strides. The group has been the Bears' clear Achilles heel since the team traded for quarterback Jay Cutler, but the line did see some improvement as last season went on.

The biggest battle for the Bears at training camp might be at left tackle between J'Marcus Webb and Chris Williams. The two players had been alternating days working with the first team at the spot, but that changed on Wednesday. Webb worked at left tackle for the second consecutive day, while Williams shared snaps at right tackle with 2011 first round draft pick Gabe Carimi.

Coaches insist the battle is far from over. Stay tuned.
