Jay Cutler Gushes About Potential Of Chicago Bears' Red Zone Attack

The Chicago Bears should have a pretty potent passing attack in the red zone this season as Jay Cutler has tall targets in Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Kellen Davis.

The Chicago Bears haven't had the most potent passing attack in recent years, but quarterback Jay Cutler is excited about its potential this season ... especially once his offense reaches the red zone.

The Bears have surrounded Cutler with two big targets as his potential starting wide receivers in 6-foot-4 Brandon Marshall on one side and 6-foot-3 rookie wide receiver Alshon Jeffery on the other. That should make it rather easy for the quarterback to throw the ball almost anywhere in the end zone with expectations of someone coming down with it -- something he's rather excited about, according to his comments in the Chicago Tribune.

"They make my job a lot easier down there," Cutler said. "And if you put Kellen Davis (6-7) in the mix, we have three dudes taller than 6-3. It's going to be fun just putting the ball up and hopefully getting some touchdowns."

Having a lot of "dudes taller than 6-3" is never a bad thing -- especially when all three will likely have a height advantage over whoever is attempting to defend them.
