2012 NFL Free Agency: Ex-Bears QB Nathan Enderle Signs With Jacksonville Jaguars

Stay connected for news and updates

Quarterback Nathan Enderle has agreed to a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars; this news comes a week after he was waived by the Chicago Bears. Enderle had a tough time making an impact in Chicago during the 2011 season.

Enderle was active just four times last year and failed to take a single snap in a regular-season game. It did not help matters for Enderle when [Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz] left the organization at the conclusion of last season, or when the organization signed Jason Campbell to serve as the primary backup to Cutler and re-signed veteran Josh McCown, who started the final few games of 2011 ahead of Enderle.

Enderle was the Bears' fifth round NFL Draft selection in 2011.
