Chicago Bears offensive lineman Gabe Carimi's rookie season was cut short after he dislocated a kneecap in Week 2 of the 2011 season. The injury has made for a long road back to the field, but he was finally able to return to Bears practice on Tuesday.
First day Back at practice went great. Just need to keep up the hard work to get back where I want to be.

So far so good for Carimi, who is hoping that he'll be able to step right back into a starting role at right tackle.
