NFL Power Rankings: Bears In Middle Of Pack Of Post-Draft Rankings

Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Bears looked like a possible Super Bowl contender last season before injuries to Jay Cutler and Matt Forte derailed the team, and as they gear up for a playoff run in 2012, they remain a bit of a mystery to a lot of observers. Will both Cutler and Forte be healthy and effective? How will Brandon Marshall be integrated into the offense? Did the Bears address enough weaknesses in the offseason?

In his post-draft NFL power rankings, SB Nation's Joel Thorman ranks the Bears at No. 18, mostly because he's "not really sure of what to make" of the Bears heading into the 2012 season. The Bears are sandwiched by the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs, two other teams like the Bears that could skyrocket up the rankings this season or could crash and burn.
