Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Bears selected TCU cornerback Greg McCoy in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft to complete the team's first draft under new GM Phil Emery. Emery did not select an offensive lineman, which is sure to raise a few eyebrows. McCoy was taken with pick No. 220 overall.

McCoy is thought to make an impact at the next level mostly on special teams. He had two return touchdowns in 2011 and was named Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Year. He was also a two-year starter at corner who is said to have grab top-end speed but has trouble handling bigger, more physical receivers.
