The Chicago Bears and general manager Phil Emery waited patiently until pick No. 19 in Round One of the 2012 NFL Draft, and they got their man in defensive end Shea McClellin, but there is still plenty of work to do. Despite all of the trades on Thursday, the Bears have yet to do any draft-day dealing and they hold six more picks as a result, including No. 50 Overall, No. 79 Overall, No. 111 Overall and 150 Overall.
The Bears still need to fill in holes on the offensive line, at wide receiver and in the defensive secondary, so Emery and company will have to get creative to shore up the roster at each of those positions unless everything falls just right.
Here is the complete list of picks the Bears have left in the 2012 NFL Draft, heading into Friday:
Round 2, Pick No. 18, No. 50 Overall
Round 3, Pick No. 17, No. 79 Overall
Round 4, Pick No. 16, No. 111 Overall
Round 5, Pick No. 15, No. 150 Overall
Round 6, Pick No. 14, No. 184 Overall
Round 7, Pick No. 13, No. 220 Overall
