After an impressive NFL Combine, the consensus among draft watchers seemed to be that Notre Dame Fighting Irish wide receiver Michael Floyd would be snatched up within the first 10 or 12 picks, maybe even before Oklahoma State Cowboys wide receiver Justin Blackmon. But draft projecting is a fickle art and, if the latest 2012 mock draft from SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber holds true, the Bears may be able to exit the first round with one of the draft's premier playmakers.
If Floyd does indeed fall to Chicago's pick at No. 19, as Van Bibber predicts, it will be interesting to see if the Bears do indeed pull the trigger. Passing on a talent like Floyd at that spot in the draft may be close impossible but, with Chicago already having brought in Brandon Marshall this offseason, they may look to upgrade another position.
