ESPN Chicago is reporting that the Chicago Bears recently invited South Carolina Gamecocks WR Alshon Jeffery for a visit to the Bears headquarters at Halas Hall. The 22-year-old wide receiver has played three seasons with the Gamecocks and in 2010, was a Fred Biletnikoff Award finalist -- the award for the nation's top collegiate wide receiver.

ESPN currently rates Jeffery as the No. 6 wide receiver prospect in the nation.
