2012 NFL Free Agency: Chicago Bears Re-Sign Safety Craig Steltz To 2-Year Deal

On Friday afternoon, the Chicago Bears re-signed safety Craig Steltz to a two-year contract, the terms of which have not been disclosed.

Safety Craig Steltz, a key special teams contributor and capable starter on defense, has agreed to terms on a two-year contract, according to a league source. Terms of the deal were not immediately available.

Steltz, who has spent the last four seasons with Chicago, has served primarily as a reserve and special teams contributor. He played in all 16 games in 2011, starting five of them. He picked off one pass and collected 43 tackles. He's played in 48 games over the course of his career.
