Safety Brandon Meriweather was brought to the Chicago Bears to provide stability to the back of the defense before the start of last season, but the former Pro Bowler rarely provided an impact for Lovie Smith's defense. Today, he's officially gone from Chicago, signing a two-year deal with the Washington Redskins.

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears are still interested in safety help. One name to keep an eye on is former Redskins defensive back O.J. Atogwe. Atogwe was recently released by Washington after posting 60 tackles and three interceptions last season.
