Linebacker J.T. Thomas, a sixth round draft pick by the Chicago Bears in 2011, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. Monday morning in Morgantown, West Virginia and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Thomas was reportedly speeding and going in the wrong direction on a one-way street when he was pulled over by police.
Police alleged Thomas was exceeding the speed limit of 25 mph and he was pulled over. When asked to provide registration for the vehicle, which was in the glove compartment, police allegedly found two plastic bags that contained what appeared to be marijuana.
Police found less than 15 grams of marijuana.

Thomas, who played in college at West Virginia University, missed the entire 2011 NFL season with a back injury.
