Week 8 NFL picks: Panthers vs. Bears, picked by the experts

David Banks

The experts from ESPN, Yahoo! and CBS are all in on the Bears when they face the Panthers on Sunday.

The Chicago Bears will be heavy favorites when they host the struggling Carolina Panthers on Sunday, and very few, if any, of the experts think that they will stumble.

The ESPN panel of game pickers have unanimously sided with the Bears this week, as have those at Yahoo! Sportsand CBSSports.com. That's right, not a single person out of 23 total picked the Panthers to upset the Bears. ESPN's Accuscore simulator and CBS' Prediction Machine also sided with Chicago.

The Bears have been on an impressive run as of late, especially defensively. To contrast, the Panthers are in turmoil on both offense and defense, and their general manager of over a decade was just fired this past week. Even with the enormously talented Cam Newton at quarterback, the Panthers have struggled to score points this year, and that should probably continue when they face the Bears' fearsome squad.

Kickoff from Soldier Field is noon, CT, on Sunday.
