Division rivals square off on Monday night.
Chicago hosts Detroit on Monday night, and for the Bears, it's an opportunity to stay atop the NFC North standings. A win would move the Bears to 5-1, a half-game ahead of the Vikings. For the Lions, it's an opportunity to get back to .500 and better position themselves for a run to the playoffs. Eight NFC teams will have a better record than the Lions after this week even if they win, so Detroit wants to avoid losing any additional ground.
In the video below, Jerry Mallory of SB Nation's Pride Of Detroit breaks down just what the Lions must do in order to come away with a win in Chicago. Mallory says the Lions need to improve their special teams effort and be careful about when they kick the ball to Devin Hester. Mallory also wants Detroit to cut down on penalties.
ESPN will televise Monday night's game, which is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. CT.
