Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall came pre-loaded with plenty of question marks and concerns, but ever since he arrived to play for the Bears the star wide receiver has produced nothing but positive vibes. Marshall has already expressed his interest in remaining with the Bears long-term, and on Wednesday he told "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000 that he's trying to get in touch with Chicago legend and former Bears great Mike Ditka to pick his brain:
"There's a lot of things I can do on and off the field, especially with the foundation we're trying to establish in the community, and just take advantage of it. Coach Ditka has been support for me. I think in the next week or so we're going to sit down with him and his wife and have dinner. I'm going to pick his brain every chance. Coach Ditka, he's a pro's pro. He's one of those guys that you really need to pay attention to when you're around him."
Ditka followed up by saying Marshall is "a unique athlete with a great opportunity" and that the talented receiver has a good chance to become a successful player for the team and an important figure in the city.
The Bears host the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football in Week 7. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
