Three More Candidates Emerge For Bears GM Opening

Three more candidates have emerged as possibilities to be the next General Manager of the Chicago Bears. Bears writer John Mullin and ESPN's Adam Schefter have reported the Bears have asked the Baltimore Ravens for permission to speak with director of player personnel Eric DeCosta.

What makes this particularly interesting is the relationship the Bears have had with the Ravens after a botched draft day trade last April is anything but friendly. Will Ravens brass give the Bears permission to interview DeCosta or are they still bitter?

Two other possibilities include Green Bay Packers director of football operations Reggie Mckenzie who has interest from other teams including the Raiders.

The Bears may also reach out to a former employee. Vikings George Paton may also get a call from Ted Phillips to replace Jerry Angelo.
