NFL Picks And Predictions, Week 13: Bears Picked To Beat Chiefs By AOL Sporting News
SB Nation Chicago continues the tour around the web for expert picks on the Week 13 matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs. Vinnie Iyer has released his picks for this week, and here is what he has to say about the Bears:
Iyer is 118-58 for the year-to-date, and went 12-4 straight up in Week 12.The Bears were really hoping for the return of Kyle Orton to help them at quarterback, but the Chiefs won the waiver claim for the former Broncos starter instead. Now there's a good chance Kansas City starts Orton over Tyler Palko, and it's on Chicago's defense to make sure Orton doesn't out-perform Caleb Hanie. Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs will help their teammates play off the tendencies of Orton, who should also be a bit rusty in a new offense. The key for Hanie is handing off to Matt Forte and having trust in the other side of the ball. Bears 20, Chiefs 13.
As for other NFC North teams, Iyer has taken:
- The Green Bay Packers to beat the New York Giants 41-20.
- The Minnesota Vikings to fall to the Denver Broncos 20-17.
- The Detroit Lions to lose to the New Orleans Saints 34-20.

NFL Picks and Predictions, Week 13: Chicago Bears Are A Unanimous Pick By ESPN Panel
The eight-man panel at ESPN has weighed in on the Week 13 matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs, and ESPN's staff is in complete agreement that the Bears will win on Sunday. Here is the rundown for other teams within the division:
- The panel actually likes Jared Allen and the Minnesota Vikings to upset Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos, with a 5-3 split favoring in the Vikings and Mike Golic, Mark Schlereth and Seth Wickersham as the dissenters.
- The Packers are also favored in a 5-3 split, with Chris Mortensen, Adam Schefter and Seth Wickersham picking the Giants in an upset.
- Clean 8-0 sweep for the New Orleans Saints at home over the Detroit Lions.
