The five-writer panel over at ESPN has released its NFL Week 12 Power Rankings list, and the Chicago Bears have moved down two spots from last week, to No. 7 overall. The move still puts the Bears at fourth-best in the NFC, and the bump down likely had little to do with how the team performed on the field on Sunday, as John Clayton explains:
7 Bears 7-3 Jay Cutler's broken thumb could break the Bears' wild-card chances. (Clayton)
Here's the rest of the NFC North:
1 Packers 10-0 If the Packers beat the Lions, they will go into the final two weeks of the regular season unbeaten. (Clayton)
10 Lions 7-3 Matthew Stafford might not win comeback player of the year, but he's sure great at comebacks. (Clayton)
29 Vikings 2-8 There is no way Adrian Peterson is going to play this week with a first-degree high-ankle sprain. (Clayton)
