2011 NFL Draft: TV Coverage Starts Today

Stay connected for news and updates

No, the 2011 NFL draft doesn't start today -- it won't happen for three more months; the actual dates are April 28-30 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

But the NFL Network begins its draft previews today in conjunction with its coverage of the East-West Shrine Game from Orlando, Florida, which will be televised by the network starting at 3 p.m. CST. NFL Network's Mike Mayock will tell us who his top five draft prospects at each position are, during the game telecast.

Then, all week this upcoming week, there will be shows on the practices leading up to next Saturday's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama (which will also be televised by NFL Network at 3 p.m. CST on Jan. 29). On Monday, Jan. 24, this preview show will be at 2:30 p.m. CST; the rest of the week it airs at 10 a.m. CST with recap shows at 7:30 p.m. CST (through Thursday).

If you can't get enough of talk about who's going to be drafted and by whom, the NFL Network is your place to be, starting this afternoon.
