Bears Vs. Redskins: Wed. Injury report

Stay connected for news and updates

With a third of their games played, and their bye week still a game away, the Bears are starting to show some signs of wear and tear. Particularly on defense. Among the ‘bent, but not boken’ kept of Wedneday’s drills:
CB Zack Bowman (foot), LB Lance Briggs (ankle), LB Brian Urlacher (groin), S Chris Harris (knee), and S Danieal Manning (back).

On the offense, G Roberto Garza (knee) is still recovering from the arthroscopic surgery he had last week.

On a positive note rookie S Major Wright (hamstring) took part in limited practice.

While it looks as though a lot of defensive backs are on the IR, it’s likely Lovie Smith was just giving some veterans an extra day of rest. We’ll keep you updated on their status, as the week goes on.

For the Redskins, RB Clinton Portis (groin) has been labelled ‘out’.
