The Bulls will host the Rockets in a Christmas Day evening matchup.

The Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets will tip off as one of the later NBA games on Christmas Day. Both teams have done all right for themselves early in the season, though the Bulls have only managed an 8-6 record at home so far this year. They still have the advantage at the United Center over the Rockets, who have only gone 3-7 away from Houston.

Former Thunder star James Harden has stepped in and been the leader for the Rockets, putting up 25.6 points per game for his new team. Luol Deng has led the Derrick Rose-less Bulls on the scoring chart this year with 17.8 points per game, while Joakim Noah has contributed with 10.6 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game.

Chicago last met the Rockets in late November, and lost 93-89 in Houston. Tuesday's game will be the second and final meeting between the two teams in the 2012-13 regular season.

The game will be at United Center at 7 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ESPN.

After losing 1-0 to the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday, the Chicago White Sox have come out with a lot more fire in Saturday's game against the Brew Crew. It hasn't been incredibly easy to hold off the Brewers offense, but the Sox have managed to put up a slim 4-3 lead going into the sixth inning.

Left fielder Dayan Viciedo has been the man of the game offensively for the Sox, spreading out two hits in two at bats, scoring a run and pushing in three RBI thanks mostly to a two run homer. That HR was the biggest mistake allowed by Randy Wolf, who has been getting hit hard by the Sox all game long but mostly into the gloves of the outfielders.

Dylan Axelrod has struck out three while allowing only two earned runs so far in the game, but it's far too close to call this a potential White Sox win with such a close scoreline in the sixth. Milwaukee has started the inning with a lead-off single.

Derrick Rose's ACL injury is impacting a lot of analysis on who the Chicago Bulls will be taking in the 2012 NBA Draft. With the star possibly missing a large chunk of next season, there's room for more guards on the team and there will be plenty of options available to the Bulls in that regard.

Walterfootball.com is a site that is usually regarded for their great NFL mock drafts, but they do NBA mocks as well and their latest has Kentucky SG Doron Lamb being taken by the Bulls with their 29th overall selection to fill some of the vacancy in the point producing column:

With Derrick Rose possibly having to miss the entire 2012-2013 season due to his torn ACL, the Bulls suddenly have a need for depth at point guard and could consider Tyshawn Taylor. They could also use some scoring help at the two which gives the nod to Doron Lamb.

Depending on who falls to the Bulls at the positions they covet, this pick could go one of all sorts of ways. It'll be a mystery right up until Thursday when the card is finally turned in. As more news comes in on how long Rose is expected to be out for the Bulls, their priorities may change even further.

Chicago swiped the young Finnish winger up quickly and SB Nation's NHL Draft Grades, released right after the end of the draft, gave them high marks for the selection.

Chicago Blackhawks: With the addition of Teuvo Teravainen, Chicago gains another skilled winger in the mold of a Patrick Kane, but his speed and hands should hopefully overcome the concerns about his size that led to the Finnish forward falling in the draft. B+

Having a guy in the mold of Patrick Kane, no matter how small the 5'11'' winger might be, is never a bad thing and is a comparison that Blackhawks fans will be smiling at. Small players aren't always effective in the NHL, but there are plenty of examples including Buffalo's Nathan Gerbe that show size doesn't always matter.

Obviously it wasn't enough of a problem to keep the Hawks from getting a solid B+ out of the grades.

Arizona didn't make a single change to their hitting lineup from Friday, save for the obvious pitcher swap in the ninth spot.
