The Fighting Irish play the first of two weekend games at Michigan State on Friday night, part of a busy night of college hockey.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will try to recover from a recent loss when they visit the Michigan State Spartans for a two-game weekend set beginning Friday night, in what will be a busy night of college hockey.
Notre Dame, after falling to the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 4-1, on Tuesday, have an overall record of 14-5-0. The Spartans, on the other hand, have lost two consecutive games and are struggling so far this season with a record of 5-12-3. The game is set to start at 6:05 p.m. CT and can be seen on Comcast.
Minnesota take its 14-3-3 record into the weekend for a couple home games against the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves, who are currently 3-11-4. Friday's game is set for 8:05 p.m. CT and will air on the Big Ten Network.
Elsewhere, the Denver Pioneers (12-6-3) host the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks (13-8-1) at 9:05 p.m. CT on the NBC Sports Network, and the Michigan Wolverines (7-11-2) welcome the Alaska Nanooks (6-8-4) for a contest beginning at 6:35 p.m. CT.
