Colts Vs. Bears Inactives: Defensive Tackle Amobi Okoye Out Against Indianapolis

Defensive tackle Amobi Okoye is among six inacitves for the Chicago Bears in their season-opening matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher, punter Ryan Quigley, safety Jeremy Jones, guard Edwin Williams and defensive end Cheta Ozougwu are also inactive.

Okoye recently rejoined the Bears after spending most of training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay cut him at least in part due to a lingering knee injury. Okoye had 27 tackles and four sacks in 16 games last season. He was the tenth overall selection by the in the 2007 NFL Draft.

Sanzenbacher, who made the Bears roster after some uncertainty during training camp, will not play Week 1 against the Colts. Sanzenbacher had 27 receptions for 276 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie in 2011.
