Brian Urlacher Says This Bears Team Is Deepest And Most Talented He's Played On

The Chicago Bears are coming in ranked pretty highly by most of the popular power rankings around the Internet. This offseason, they tried a lot of different things to really boost the effectiveness of the offense, the least of which wasn't breaking in wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Many think they're poised to make a run, and none more than long-time team leader and potential future Hall of Fame inductee Brian Urlacher.

Zach Zaidman had a tweet on Thursday with a quote from Urlacher, in which he talked about the depth of the team:

That's coming from a 13-year veteran of the game. Urlacher is 34 years old and hasn't been one to blow smoke in the past. The fact that it looks like he'll be ready to go for Week 1 of the season and is relatively healthy, coupled with his expressed confidence in his teammates, is definitely a good sign for the Bears.

Their defense got them through most of Urlacher's career, but the depth he's speaking to might just refer to the offense this time around. Jay Cutler, Matt Forte and Brandon Marshall might just make for some explosive playmaking, and that will make Urlacher's job all the easier.
