Kansas Vs. Northern Illinois Score: NIU Leads 13-10 At The Half

Northern Illinois will take a 13-10 lead into halftime after a relatively even first half. The Huskies have been led by Jordan Lynch, the quarterback has throw for 81 yards while adding another 80 on the ground. He completed 67% of his passes in the first half of play.

The Jayhawks opened the scoring on their first possession, kicking a field goal to go up 3-0. NIU would answer when Lynch hit Tommylee Lewis for a touchdown, but they would miss the extra point to lead 6-3. James Sims would give Kansas the lead with a 26 yard touchdown run before Akeem Daniels closed out the scoring for the half. He'd run the ball in from 3 yards out to send the Huskies into the break 13-10.

NIU got the ball to start the game, so they'll be kicking off to start the second half.
