A heavy rainstorm hit Chicago Monday, delaying the start of the game between the Cubs and Pirates. With no more scheduled games between the two teams, they appear set on getting this game in and the first pitch is now scheduled for 10:40 p.m. CT.

With a nearly four-hour rain delay, the game will go well into the early hours of Tuesday morning. A September weekday game between teams on the outside of the playoff picture was already unlikely to be a major draw, but the delay will likely result in an extremely small crowd.
