Derrick Rose was back in Chicago on Thursday, acting as the star of an adidas event showcasing the Bulls point guard's new signature apparel line. Rose and adidas debuted a new logo that is sure to be everywhere around the city in the coming months, as well as a collection of t-shirts, hoodies, hats and even headphones to go along with the latest edition of his shoe line.
The event took an unexpected turn midway through when Rose started crying while a video unveiling the new gear played. Check out the exclusive video, via my shaky hands and smartphone:
This isn't the first time we've seen Rose cry in public. His MVP speech in 2011 triggered similar emotions. Much like his MVP speech, Rose used the adidas production to speak openly about the role of his family while his mother and brothers watched from the first row.
