2012 Summer Olympics Medal Count: China Leads U.S. 73-70

China entered the day with the edge in the Olympic medal count, and that's how they'll leave it -- the Chinese have won 73 medals at the 2012 London Olympics, while the United States is second with 70. The Chinese also have the edge in gold medals won with 34; the U.S. is four off the pace in that category.
