Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago White Sox will take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the third game of a four-game series on Wednesday.

The Sox are fresh off of a 3-2 victory on Tuesday night behind a strong pitching effort from starter Jose Quintana. Quintana gave up only two runs in 6-2/3 innings on his way to his fifth victory of the season. He scattered eight hits and allowed four strikeouts in the contest.

On Wednesday, White Sox starter Gavin Floyd will take the hill against Blue Jays pitcher Ricky Romero. Both are 8-9 on the season and will be hoping to avoid their tenth losses.

At 63-52, Chicago continues to lead the AL central. Toronto, on the other hand, is still struggling to get out of the basement of the AL East and is 55-61 on the season.
