Reds Vs. Cubs Preview: Can Chicago's Offense Stay Hot Against Bronson Arroyo?

Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Cubs lost a 10-8 slugfest on Friday afternoon against the Cincinnati Reds, but the offense will look to stay hot in Game 3 of the series on Saturday night when Chicago gets a look at veteran hurler Bronson Arroyo (7-7, 4.05 ERA). Surprisingly, Arroyo has fared extremely well when pitching at Wrigley Field over the past three years. He has posted a 1.71 ERA over 26.1 innings during that span, and has limited Cubs hitters to a mere .202 batting average. Can Anthony Rizzo and Brett Jackson help turn the tide in that respect and make things less comfortable for Arroyo on Saturday?

Game date/time: Saturday, August 11, 3:05 p.m. CT

Location: Wrigley Field, Chicago, Illinois

TV: CSN-Chicago
