Golfers from around the world are gathering in Lancashire, England, as the 2012 British Open begins this Thursday. Northwestern grad and World No. 1 Luke Donald will look to preserve his top ranking (averaging 9.55 points) on his home turf in United Kingdom.

Young Rory McIlroy (No. 2) and the rest of the field will look to dethrone Donald in the often inhospitable climes of Northern England. Here are the details for this week's broadcasts:

  • Thursday, July 19: 4:00 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. on ESPN

  • Saturday, July 21: 6:00 a.m. -- 1:30 p.m. on ESPN
  • Sunday, July 22: 5:00 a.m. -- 12:30 p.m. on ESPN; 2:00 p.m. -- 5:00 p.m. on ABC
