Details continue to emerge for the Chicago White Sox's trade for Boston Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis. Chicago will send right-handed pitcher Zach Stewart and utility player Brent Lillibridge to the Boston, while Boston will send $5.5 million to the South Siders along with Youkilis.
Stewart is 25 years old and is 1-2 this season with a 6.00 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. Lillibridge is valuable for his ability to play all of the diamond. The 28-year old was struggling at the plate this season, though, hitting just .175/.232/.190. Last season Lillibridge posted an impressive .845 OPS in 186 at-bats with the White Sox, finishing with 13 home runs.
