The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will travel to Europe on September first to continue their annual rivalry against the Navy Midshipmen.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will return to Dublin, Ireland, for the first time time since November 2, 1996, to take on the Navy Midshipmen in their annual matchup. According to Brett McMurphy of CBS Sports, the date for the international event has just been set:

The Fighting Irish and Navy Midshipmen also paired off in the previous Dublin game in 1996, with the Irish winning 54-27. In the 2011 college football season, the Irish also beat Navy in a 56-14 blowout with WR Michael Floyd catching 6 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown in that game.
