Blackhawks Vs. Rangers Recap: Blackhawks Pull Out 4-3 Victory

One game after getting waxed 5-1 by the St. Louis Blues— the Western Conference's best team— the Chicago Blackhawks took down the New York Rangers, the top team in the Eastern Conference, 4-3 on Friday night. Chicago was led by defenseman Johnny Oduya and winger Patrick Kane, both of who tallied an assist and a goal on the night.

Kane lit the lamp with New York's net empty with 53 seconds left to go in the game to put the Blackhawks up 4-2, but New York's Brad Richards was able to bring the Rangers to within one with 41 seconds left. Chicago also received goals from Andrew Shaw and Patrick Sharp on the night.

The Blackhawks will take Saturday off before hosting the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night at 7:00 p.m.
