Anthony Davis In The NBA Draft: Chicago Native Projected No. 1 Overall By SB Nation

Kentucky Wildcats forward and Chicago's very own Anthony Davis was named AP Player of the Year on Friday. On Saturday, he'll lead the Wildcats into the Final Four against Louisville. Davis is unanimously considered to be the top overall prospect.

Davis will presumably be the second Chicago native to go No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft in the last five years. Former Simeon guard Derrick Rose was the top selection in the 2008 draft.
