Notre Dame Vs. West Virginia Final Score: Irish Down Mountaineers 55-51

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are streaking, and on Wednesday night in Morgantown, the West Virginia Mountaineers became their latest victim. Notre Dame earned its fifth straight victory by knocking off West Virginia 55-51 to improve to 16-8 overall. The loss drops WVU to 16-9.

Notre Dame was led by big man Jack Cooley, who finished with 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 10 rebounds. Jerian Grant and Scott Martin each added 12 points for the Irish in the win. Eric Atkins chipped in seven points and four rebounds for the Notre Dame.

Jabarie Hinds scored 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting to lead the Mountaineers. Deniz Kilicli (16 points) and Kevin Jones (14 points and 11 rebounds) also played well for West Virginia in the loss.
