Luol Deng Uninjured After All-Star Game Fall

Stay connected for news and updates

Chicago Bulls' forward Luol Deng fell on his injured left wrist late in the first quarter of the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, and though he didn't return to the game, he told reporters on Sunday night that the move was precautionary, and he did not hurt his wrist.

"I just fell on my wrist," he said. "It was nothing. I just fell."

Deng told reporters that East head coach Tom Thibodeau planned on being cautious with his minutes anyway, but both mutually agreed after Deng's fall that it would be best for him to sit out for the rest of the game. Deng said that despite playing only six minutes in his first ever All-Star experience, he still enjoyed the experience.
