Both Illinois-Chicago and Loyola (IL) are major longshots to make noise in the Horizon League conference tournament after brutal regular seasons.
After struggling through the regular season, Chicago's two members of the Horizon League, Illinois-Chicago and Loyola (IL), are hoping to pull off an upset or two in the conference tournament. UIC and Loyola (IL) finished in the bottom two spots in the ten-team league, often looking totally overmatched.
The Flames finish the regular season with a 3-15 record against Horizon opponents and a 8-21 record overall, while the Ramblers went 1-17 versus Horizon foes and 7-22 overall. The two teams played each other twice during the season, with the Flames getting one of their three conference victories and the Ramblers getting their lone conference win.
