Jabari Parker recruiting: Simeon star will announce college choice at 3 p.m. Thursday on ESPNU

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Star hoops prospect Jabari Parker will announce his college decision next Thursday, Dec. 20, on ESPNU.

Jabari Parker, the No. 2 hoops prospect in the country according to most services, will announce his college decision next Thursday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m. on ESPNU. The finalists for Parker's services are Duke, Michigan State, BYU, Florida, and Stanford. The consensus seems to be that the real decision is between Duke and Michigan State.

Parker was the No. 1 prospect in the country for the 2013 class until Andrew Wiggins, a 6'7 wing from Ontario, reclassified from the class of 2014 to the class of 2013.

Parker also suffered a fractured right foot while playing for Team USA in the FIBA U-17 World Championships in July. He has only recently returned to the court, and has looked understandably rusty in the two games since his return. On Thursday night, Parker managed only five points against DeSoto (TX), and committed five travelling violations as well. Simeon fell short in that game, 67-57.
