Notre Dame looks to keep their BCS dreams alive on Saturday when they travel to take on an overmatched Boston College.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will look to avoid another upset scare on Saturday when they travel to Alumni Stadium to face off against the Boston College Eagles. This will be the second straight week Notre Dame plays what appears to be an inferior opponent on paper, but after last week's game against the Pittsburgh Panthers, nothing should be taken for granted.

The Eagles are currently 2-7 this season, and have only one victory this season against FBS opponents. Boston College has struggled on both sides of the ball this season, averaging 363.9 yards-per-game on offense while surrendering 477.4 yards-per-game on defense. The Eagles also have 18 turnovers on the season, so the talented Fighting Irish defense should have plenty of opportunities to help the offense by giving them short-field position.

Notre Dame has won the last three meetings against BC, but fans will remember that Boston College ended Notre Dame's undefeated season in 2002 when the Irish were 8-0. The Irish will need to win this game to keep their BCS hopes alive.

Game Time: 8:00 p.m ET

TV: ABC

Odds: Notre Dame -20
