Kings vs. Bulls score update: Chicago leads Sacramento, 44-40

The Chicago Bulls lead the Sacramento Kings, 44-40, after two quarters on Wednesday night.

Kirk Hinrich replaced the injured Derrick Rose in the starting lineup and had two points, six assists and one turnover in just under 14 minutes of playing time. Nate Robinson had two points and one assist off the bench as the backup point guard.

The Bulls are led by Richard Hamilton, who has a team-high 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field.

Tyreke Evans leads the Kings with a game-high 13 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field.

The Bulls have held the Kings to 47.2 percent shooting from the field in the first half while forcing 13 Kings' turnovers, including four each by DeMarcus Cousins and James Johnson.

The Bulls are shooting 48.8 percent from the field as a team. Ten different players scored for Chicago in the first half. Joakim Noah leads the team with five rebounds so far.
