The fourth and final year of Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau's contract extension isn't guaranteed, according to a report.

While Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau is sure to be around for a while now, the fourth and final year of his new contract extension with the team is not guaranteed, according to Aggrey Sam of CSN Chicago. Bulls management announced Thibodeau's new four-year deal at the team's media day on Monday afternoon.

Adding to Thibodeau's current deal, which includes a club option for the 2012-13 season that the Bulls previously exercised, Thibodeau is now under contract through 2016-17, although that final year isn't guaranteed. Previous reports have stated that his new deal could be worth as much as $20 million.

Over his two years as head coach of the Bulls, Thibodeau has led Chicago to the best record in the Eastern Conference in consecutive seasons, winning NBA Coach of the Year in 2010 before becoming the league's fastest coach to 100 wins last year. His overall record in two seasons with the team is 112-36 (.757 winning percentage).
